Involved Males Programs

The goal of the Involved Males program is to bring fathers/significant males into a role as active participants in the lives of children, in the life of KidZKount: PCAC and into the life of community partners. The process of fathers/significant males as active participants occurs by establishing mutual trust through a variety of opportunities for interactions with fathers/significant men.

	Volunteering in KidZKount: PCAC classrooms serving children. Volunteering at KidZKount: PCAC’s central office and serving with staff. Monthly parent – center committee meetings (Local meetings at every KidZKount: PCAC center). Monthly Policy Council meetings (Agency wide representatives – Delegates and Alternates from each center). Monthly standing committees (Delegates and Alternates of the Policy Council meeting in smaller groups). Involved Males Advisory committee (Men advising staff on direction of program and policy changes). Opportunities for Fathers Education and Responsibility (OFFER) Luncheon. Man-2-man peer support. Sharing the Dream, Putting Dad’s into the Picture. "Daddy, Read To Me!” Community events created by collaboration of men and staff
