Daddy, Read to Me:

A nationally recognized literacy program, designed for preschool children, focusing on male involvement in the Head Start program.

- Promotes positive reinforcement
- Encourages consistent book reading in the home & better reading in school
- Fosters adult male interest in Child Development

Medical Endowments:
|
Endowments will be made available to assist with dental, medical, or mental health services where needed, and not funded through any other agency. The money KidZKount is able to raise, allows more families to be reached in our community. Our goals are to lend a hand with:

- Emergency fund for critical intervention & prescribed unaffordable drugs
- Mental health issues
- Normal doctor care, well baby, shots, hearing, eyes, etc.
- Regular dental check- ups and general care
|
The Resource Bus:
|
The Resource Bus allows KidZKount to become mobile and “get the word out” to our community while serving and reaching children and families in all corners of Nevada and Placer Counties and beyond. The Resource Bus will be out in the community to recruit & market Head Start. The bus will be used in parades, community events, and for fundraising, and giving thanks to our sponsors and donors.
